Marketing Third Level (30 Hours)
Aims
The aims of this syllabus are to enable students to develop:
• a broad strategic understanding across the full range of marketing activities, including advertising, PR, sales promotion and market research
• the ability to apply this understanding to real life marketing scenarios
• the ability to illustrate their understanding through the use of real experiences, or created examples
Assessment Objectives
The examination will assess the student’s ability to:
• demonstrate a broad knowledge and understanding of the facts, terms, principles, definitions and concepts of marketing
• apply the knowledge and understanding gained to real life marketing scenarios
• illustrate their understanding with real and/or created marketing example
