This course integrates all language skills necessary for effective communication. It provides students to express basic ideas clearly, demonstrate how to use basic written and spoken language for different purposes.
At the end of the course, the students will be able to:
* recognise and use present, past simple, future simple tenses; articles, adjectives, pronouns and nouns;
* use basic vocabulary in phrases and sentences;
* listen and comprehend to selected passages or texts;
* discuss and relate ideas from any sources of information given;
* write sentences , paragraphs with varied topics and read selected short passages;
* observe correct punctuation and stress and;
* develop and gain confidence in all language tasks given.
